Oh those stomach problems

Well I managed to get in my 5 mile run. But lets just say the tummy almost made it one of my most embarrassing ones. I know I know why did he go there. Basically so you guys can have a laugh at my expense. Besides that I went to the gym today and worked on the old core and legs. That's about it. Do not forget to go over to Jonathan's blog and wish him good luck at the RnR Half Marathon. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Pretty good sure as your born

I know I have used that title before, but it's my favorite attraction at WDW so I wanted to use it again. Got in another 5 miler today. My stomach tightened up right off the bat and did not semi loosen up until I had gone about 2 miles. Thank god it did because I was going to call it at 2 if it did not. I forgot to weigh in yesterday. I did today and I am down to 210.8 lbs. So I am pretty excited that I am starting to take the weight back off. And for those who are wondering what happened. Why did I gain so much weight back. Well it's because I let myself go after the 1/2 at Disney and I brought those eating habits back home with me. But it looks like I have it under control again. Well that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Soreness

I can not understand why I am so sore and feeling dragged down when I run lately. I just don't seem to have the energy like I had last year. I am going to look into my diet to see if that is where the answer lies. I put in another 5 miler today. I have not been happy with my time as of late. Mind is willing, but again the body is fighting back. And I have been running every other day instead of everyday to give my body a rest. After my run I went to the gym and lets just say my muscles just did not have it today. I worked on my upper body and my core. Well that's really about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Just an update

Well I did my 6mile hill training on Sunday at Mendon Ponds Park. I tell ya I really wish I had someone to run with me here. The guy I used to run with was down sized at work and now I barely talk with him anymore. Oh well I will just keep pushing a long. I am also down 1.2 lbs. since last week. So now I am at 212.8 lbs. I ended up getting a digital scale instead of the old analog one I have had. I kept getting different readings every time I stepped on it and it never went back to zero. So I said what the hey and got me a new fancy pantsy digital one. Seems pretty accurate. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

One tuff run

Man today the mind and the body were in agreement with each other. They kept saying STOP RUNNING! Right off the bat my body did not want to move. And my breathing was uncontrollable. But luckily my will to continue was louder. It said you need to just keep moving forward. And that's what I did. Ended up with 4.26 miles when I was done. So I am pretty happy with that. Went to the gym afterwards. I am going to try a new core/abs regiment. I have not been happy with the results of what I have been doing. So I am going to switch it up and see what happens. That's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Knee test #3

Well I started up my very very tough hill training again at Mendon Ponds Park today. I did my 6 mile loop and I am bushed. It took a lot out of me. But I feel great because the knee held up fine. My right arch though was hurting a little during the run. I am wondering if it's the 2140's I bought. I wish they did not discontinue the 2130's. Those shoes rocked! Well see. I did do the run after working a full shift today. And I work on concrete all day. That could be it. But I am proud to say that since the start of the challenge I am down 6lbs. I know I am losing it fast, but that's what happened last year and then I hit that weight loss wall where I could not lose a single pound no matter what I did. But hopefully I will be able to get past that. We shall see. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

INTRODUCING!


You are reading correctly. Jeff and I your favorite intro guys are in a weight loss challenge to see who can lose the most weight before the 2010 WDW 1/2 Marathon. The rules either the first to lose 49lbs. or who ever loses the most weight(min. of 20lbs.) will be declared the winner. The prize? Under the weather

Well I was able to get in a 5 mile run yesterday and get to the gym, but when I got home my stomach was not agreeing with me. I ended up having to leave work early. I do feel a little better today. Hopefully in another day or so I will be back on the road. But I am proud to say that I had reached my goals for May. Not sure if I am going to participate in this months challenge. Since I will already be behind. I saw UP Sat. night. Now I will not spoil anything, but bring tissues. Well that's about it. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.
