Good bye April we hardly knew thee
Well I hope that is how it is said. Did another 2.32 miles today. And guess what my lungs behaved and my thighs did not burn at all! If this keeps up I might just have to go back to my 5K loop. Here's hoping. Well I was able to finish strong at the end of the month. I was able to get in just over 40 miles! Went to the gym after my run. Worked on upper body. Well that is about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Rest
Today I decided to take a rest day. My body was a little slow to move out of bed this morning so I felt well today is a good day to rest.
So I am curious. As Disney fans we tend to collect certain items from the parks, Dis. Stores etc... Me I collect coffee mugs. I have all kinds except antiques. And sorry Craig I have not drank out of that one yet. I wonder what do you guys collect. Oh yeah I also collect park maps from every year we go down. I do have a question though. When did Disney stop making their maps for every week. I have some from when I was a CP and they were dated by week. Not just a general map with a thin paper insert with park hrs. and show times. I understand why, but just wonder when.
That's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Tuff run
Ran another 2.32 miles today in 21:51. I was sore this morning. I think it was because yesterday was legs at the gym. It took the first mile just to loosen up. I was able today to somewhat control my breathing. Which we all know is huge. I hope everyone is doing alright with this months Team Voice Challenge. Because next months challenge is gonna be a good one. Well that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Lungs what happend?
Well I have been running 2.32 miles now for about 3 days and my lungs have been screaming at me. I forgot how it was with them when I started running. Plus my thighs have been BURNING during my runs. I could really do with out that. But I do feel a lot of satisfaction when I am done running. I forgot what that feeling was like and am glad that I get to experience that again. I am thinking of signing up the a local 5k on the 9th of May. It's called the Run for the Young. I ran in this 5k last year and had a good time at it. Plus it was my first time in any kind of race. I know I will not be able to beat my time from last year, but hey I am just glad to be running again. And to hold myself accountable. My times have been between 20:40-21:45 so far. Not Mike-Speed yet, but I'll get there. Well I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

On the road again just can't wait to get back on that road again.
Well Willie neither could I. So I just sucked it up and went for a run yesterday and today. I only ran 1.16miles(This is the distance I started running when I decided to change my life). But it felt great to finally get back out there. And because I can not show self control on my pace day one 9min mile, Day 2 8.35min. mile. My thighs were burning, but man again it felt great. I plan on running this distance for the week then adding in another loop and so on and so forth. I am glad to see that the Team Voice blogs are starting to show some signs of life lately. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Productive weekend.
Well around the house it was. I wish it pertained to training. No gym this weekend I just had too many projects I have been putting off. But I did get a lot accomplished so I would not have to worry about them for a while. I made a trip to my favorite running clothing store Marshalls. Yep that's right Marshalls. I needed new running clothes because what I had was starting to wear out, Seams splitting, fabric just worn etc... Well Mike what did you get? I'm glad you asked. I got 5 running shirts (3 Nike, 1 Reebok, and 1 Asics). 2 pairs of running shorts(1Nike,1Champion). And finally 2 pairs of running socks(Adidas). And why do I love shopping there so much. Well all of that name brand running clothes only cost me $99.76! If you guys have one in your area I suggest you check them out. The Asics shirt I bought I really like. It was from last years N.Y.C. Marathon. It is a tank top running shirt that has a very very good UV rating. On a more humorous note(at least to me). I was watching a commercial for the NBA playoffs. And they cut to their slogan that was on a wall and it said. "Where Amazing Happens" or W.A.H for short. I just started laughing when I saw this. I used to be a huge fan of the NBA in the late '80s to mid 90's. I loved watching Jordan, Malone, Bird, Magic, Mullen, Hardaway(Tim), Drexler, The Dream etc... You know before players just started skipping college and going straight to the NBA. Which in turn changed the sport into a bunch of immature boys, not yet men. I can not remember a player staying 4 years college(Yes I know 2009 UNC team) since Tim Duncan. OK I will stop my rant.
On a Disney note. Who here is worried that with all the recent layoffs at the World. That the quality of your experience will be compromised? I know I am. I have to admit I never have had a really good C.M. experience as a guest at the World. I have actually seen C.M.'s shy away from guests. And as a former C.M. that kinda makes me sick to my stomach when I see that. Don't get me wrong I love going to the world because it helps me just get a way from reality. But I have come to expect very little from my C.M. experiences. But what makes me worried is that with less help the bad C.M. experiences will be a lot more which I do not want any first timer to experience. OK I will stop here. I could go on. As always I will end with. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.
P.S. Happy Boston Marathon day!

Just another update
Ok so the title is an ode to Matt's blog. Lets see worked on upper body today. I was able to add 5lbs. to everything and I am quite happy that I able to do my sets with little fatigue. Got in 3.3 miles in just over 30mins. on the Elliptical at the gym. I still have not tried doing my core exercises yet. I just do not trust the knee yet. That's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. Snooch to the nooch

Cause were move'n on up
Well today I decided to jump on the Elliptical at the gym today. I was able to do 25 mins. which worked out to 2.17 miles. I kept it slow because I was not sure how well my knee would hold up. The funny thing is my knee did not hurt at all. But my left thigh was starting to get tired near the end. Which is something I expected to happen. I also worked on my upper body and my abs. I think I might try and see if I can start doing my core training exercises again. Not sure how my knee will like some of the positions. Well see on Monday how I do. Gym is closed tomorrow due to it being Easter Sunday. That's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. Snoogins!

Just keep plugging along
I did another 20mins. on the bike at the gym. Worked out to be 7.3 miles. Also worked on the legs. Light weights only. My right could do more weight, but I want both legs to look and be even. Did everyone go over to the T.V. forums and say hello to Maroo and Officer Brad? That's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Rehab news
I did 20 mins. on the bike and was able to put in 7.2 miles. Knee is somewhat sore, but very manageable. Advil and ice help. I also worked on my back and worked on the old flabby tummy at the gym. I see things for the most part have been quiet on the T.V. front. How is everyone doing?

More rehab news
Well rehab is going very well. I am now able to ride the stationary bike now for as long as I want. I did 4 miles in 11mins today and will go longer tomorrow. I am starting to see more of my motion coming back. And surprisingly I have not had any swelling. In fact it just keeps going down. So all in all I am pretty happy where I am at with my rehab. Now the true test will be when I get back on the road and see if I have any knee pain again. Well that's about it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

All clear and never buy Mopar.
Well I have been given the go ahead to start rehabbing the knee. I started today. I got up on the stationary bike and after a few warm up pedals I was able to do 10 revolutions before I decided that that was enough torture. But I did it and my knee held together! What sucks is rehabbing in the morning and then going into work in the afternoon. We shall see how well I will be able to hold up. Still waiting on my new running shoes. I know I can not use them yet, but hey I want them. :) Now on to why you should never buy a vehicle that is powered by Mopar drive trains. Well I had to bring in my '03 Neon again for service. This time I found out that my radiator had failed and that the engine coolant was mixing into the tranny fluid! The car only has 51,000 miles on it. And it gets worse. This is the second time this has happened! I am so glad I purchased a 3rd party warranty on that P.O.S. The warranty company was able to track the first repair back to a local dealership when the original warranty was still on the car. My mechanic showed me what the bill would be and it was over $2400! Again thank god I purchased that warranty. It literally has already paid for itself and then some. Now the next question is " know anyone who wants to buy a Neon" :). Well that's it. Oh yeah I forgot. I started posting my monthly sit ups again. I realized that I did my best when I was holding myself accountable by show you guys how many I was doing. Now that is it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.
