WOO HOO

OK so I know karma is going to bite me on this one, but finally some good news. My insurance carrier is going to cover 100% of my surgery. I had been stressing about this one. And I booked my room for the 2010 Marathon Weekend! No I will not be running, but I will be there to cheer everyone on. Why am I not running. Not sure how things are going to play out with the knee so instead of potentially wasting $100 on an entrance fee I will sit this one out. But I will be hopefully training and If all goes to plan Chris I think I hear Goofy calling in 2011! That's about it. I see things have been pretty quiet around the blogs and forums lately. I do hope everyone is still committed. What am I saying this is TEAM VOICE of course we are! I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Feeling better

Well I was feeling better today so I decided to get off my butt and head to the gym. Did 4.67 miles on the elliptical and worked on my back. I went to Fleet Feet today to check out the shoes because I will be needing some really soon. And Asics have discontinued the GT-2130 and now offer the GT-2140. I loved my 2130's my last 3 pairs of running shoes were the 2130. I got to see them, but not try them on. They did not have my size in stock. They seem to have a little more control in the back and I am not sure I would like that. Maybe Dicks sells them and I can at least try them on there before I have Fleet Feet order me a new pair. We'll see. Well that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Under the weather

Man I have been really sick this past week. No running or exercising. I am just starting to feel better and hopefully I can get to the gym tomorrow. That is really about it. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Classic rocker Peter Gabriel is also angry, and he would not like the thank the Academy. Specifically, the onetime Genesis frontman, in protest,just bowed out of the scheduled performance of his nominated Wall-E theme "Down To Earth" at this weekend's Oscar telecast. Apparently he was irate that all the Best Song nominees will be presented Sunday in a medley, and that his portion of that medley would only last a mere 65 seconds. "The songwriters are a very small part of the filmmaking process, but we still work bloody hard," he griped. "It's not going to do me any harm to make a protest [by boycotting the Oscars]."

OK I just saw this on my face book from Travel Ears that Mousefest '09 is going to be canceled!!!! What!?!? Did anyone else see this?

So like what are you doing?

Well not much here in Rochester. It was almost 60 yesterday and because I am only allowed to use the elliptical at the gym I could not enjoy the weather. But today it is freezing rain and the wind gusts have to be up around 30-40mph. Funny how the weather can be. I scheduled my arthroscopy on my left knee for Friday March 20th. I am taking the following week off the recover from the surgery. That's about it. Oh if you have not already go and say bye to Jogger Blogger. He is no longer going to be posting on that blog. He does have another one, but it's not about running. That's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Funny thing happened at the pizza place

I took my daughter out to lunch the other day after I got done with the gym. As per the title we got pizza her favorite food. Well I was wearing my tech shirt that we got for running in the WDW half and my server comes up to me and asked if I ran it this year. I said yes and guess what so did she. I just thought that was the coolest thing. She ran it in 2hrs. flat. Anyways thats it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy. See ya.
