Pretty good sure as your born
I know I have used that title before, but it's my favorite attraction at WDW so I wanted to use it again. Got in another 5 miler today. My stomach tightened up right off the bat and did not semi loosen up until I had gone about 2 miles. Thank god it did because I was going to call it at 2 if it did not. I forgot to weigh in yesterday. I did today and I am down to 210.8 lbs. So I am pretty excited that I am starting to take the weight back off. And for those who are wondering what happened. Why did I gain so much weight back. Well it's because I let myself go after the 1/2 at Disney and I brought those eating habits back home with me. But it looks like I have it under control again. Well that's it. I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

Great job on the weight loss. I did the same thing after my first half at DL - came back and let myself get in to really bad habits. Kept telling myself I'd get back on track tomorrow...but tomorrow took a long time to come until I woke up and realized what I had done to myself.
Yeah I think we all did.
Ahhh, that's the Mike-Speed I know! Git er done!!!! Jammin' on the weight, on the miles, and on the quotes that I have no idea where they came from!!!
I think we ALL (except Rae) let ourselves go a little after the glitz of the Disney Half wore off. Also, we gotta remember that we're new to this running thing and although we all had a tremdous year of traning and amazing lack of injury, there will be downs on the path as well. Time to learn from them and get ourselves back on the "Up" (shameless plug) pattern!
Hey there "Other intro guy", how's it going? Saw your note about the 2140's. Sooo, I'm still rockin' the 2130's (just around 400 miles on em) but my wife got the 2140's and has the same complaint about them feeling really loose. I felt that way about a pair of 757 New Balance way back when and just flat out returned 'em. The NB 767 was a much better shoe. I might try to find another pair of the 2130's (13 1/2) online somewhere...I know they are scarce, but think it still can be done.
Got a 4 miler in today and dipped below the 9 min mile mark on two of the miles....hoping the recovery is moving along! My gut is starting to show again, lol!
